Smooth Pursuit

My studio mates at the time, Adam Elezra, Samuel Krauss and Tamara Strano, and I presented a show
in the apartment of our curator, Meital Aviram. We took out all the furniture in her home, covered the
floor with a green carpet, and made a stage for our works out of her bed. Instead of agreeing to the site
specific terms of an exhibition inside Aviram’s home,  we worked to concile the day to day function of
the space. Our intention was to draw more attention to the tactility and craft of the works while enabling
Aviram with a modular solutio for accomodation. The title, “Smooth Pursuit” is a type of medical eye
examination, emphasising the eye focus points during the walk between the smal works.
