An event-installation held in an abandoned office. A birthday celebration for a anonymous employee in the atmosphere of the ‘nine to five’, and everything that entails: morbid energy, fluorescent alienation, and awkward domesticity. Born out of the need to cope with the troubles above, the experience is filled with material and texture stimulations (soft cream, cold metal, burning wax, fuzzy frame etc.) and plenty of undermining dark-humor (a burning cake, dead mosguito mural).
The viewers who attended the show, celebrated the absurd and eventually ate from the three cakes that were exhibite in it.
