A painting series introducing a disorienting representation of space and surface. Merging figurative
and abstract painting, the series focuses on trompe l'oeil reliefs, unidentified entities or a cryptic
instruction manual encased in a fantastic, soft shaped frame. Since the image is abstract and yet relies
on an illusion of depth, the painting withholds a sense of coherent understanding on a sensory level.
Using recurring essential forms, the paintings create serene settings, resembling drawings traced with
a finger on a frozen window.
